The Chausey Islands from Granville in Normandy

You will spend several days in the bay of Mont St-Michel and you might miss an excursion to your program.

Do not hesitate, the Chausey Islands located 16 km from Granville are waiting for you.

A sailboat or a motorboat (www.manchetourisme.com/en/manchenautisme) will take you there in less than an hour and Chausey will offer you what nature has most wild and authentic.

The archipelago of Chausey Islands is an elliptical plateau 12 km long and 5 km wide. This dry plateau at low tide offers a practicable area of 4000 ha while at very high tides it is almost completely covered.

Chausey is also a paradise for walkers because there is no traffic. A 3.5 km trail goes around the island in the bend of sumptuous and changing landscapes.

In this little corner of paradise, there is never the same landscape, the same height of water, the same light. What makes this site a very special place.
